Digital Wizards Vision
Our vision is to create a school where every pupil is confident, safe and creative when using digital technology. The Digital Wizards will lead by example, share their skills and help others develop their knowledge and confidence in ICT.
Members:
Elis, Jac, Kira, Cadi, Jamie & Gruff.
The Digital Wizards will:
- Promote the safe and responsible use of technology throughout the school.
- Share their digital skills and knowledge with pupils.
- Support younger pupils in developing ICT skills, coding, and the use of various apps.
- Help Year 2 pupils use TT Rock Stars.
- Organise and promote coding activities and digital challenges.
- Lead assemblies and activities for Safer Internet Day.
- Gather pupils’ views and information about their digital skills through questionnaires.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving and collaboration through technology.
What are the Digital Wizards?
The Digital Wizards are representatives elected by their fellow pupils to work together to develop ICT across the school. The Digital Wizards are pupils from Years 4, 5 and 6. They have an important role in promoting online safety within the school.
They have excellent ICT skills and are willing to share these skills with others, helping younger pupils, particularly those in the Foundation Phase. Throughout the year, the Digital Wizards will organise a coding day and lead a whole-school assembly for Safer Internet Day.
